Does FMCB/ERS work on the v19 PS2?

I was hoping to buy one of the new slimmer PS2s (v19) but there seems to be some conflicting opinions on whether or not FMCB works on it or not. Some people have said it does while others say it doesn't. Has anyone tried to use a MC card with FMCB/ERS on a v19 PS2 yet? Thanks for any help.

Considering that these are in-stores everywhere, I'd expect a quick answer. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten one.

You mean V18 SCPH-9000X which is the latest version and yes FMCB is fully working. I have two of them and i will post a vid if you are still in disbelief. Cheers^_^

That's good news, thanks for the reply! Does the MC need any kind of firmware additions or add on's? I read on this forum that v18 is similar to the earlier version PS2s and needed something special added to the MC in order to get FMCB to work.

the only thing special you need is a method of booting elf files, swap magic and such or the ps1 swap method
