Cannot open menu selections normally.
I have succesfully installed FMCB 1.7 to my memorycard.
Now I can't normally select elf selections from PS2 main menu with X-button like with original PS2 menu selections. PS2 always reboot. I can only execute elf files with quickbuttons (L1-R2) pressed down in startup. I can't boot Cogswap either (R2).
All elf files are in mc0:\boot folder and they work with uLaunchElf
Is this a problem or do I always have to open .elf from PS2 menu with quickbuttons?
Sorry for my bad English.

Maybe the next version will fix your issue, because the way how it loads ELF from OSD now (in Betas) is totally different.
You can post your CNF here,... Maybe it is just a bug in there.

I don't use ESR because I had burned some games without ESR patching when I used Cogswap with Indepence Exploit. Now I just use Cogswap. And I forgot to tell you that I use 64mb chinese card.

Your mc is in the same slot, where they (OSD-Items) are mapped to?

This almost sounds like the same problem Syed and I had in this post.
Read my post #21 and through.
http://psx-scene.com/forums/freevast...-7-urgent.html
I believe it seemed to be an issue with Memory cards, yet mine were original Sony 8mb.

Better get another one for the MCboot and leave this memorycard for savegames. Thank you for advice!
