I got mine from Naplink dl. It works just fine for me as long as I put it in the MC0 root folder (not BXDATA-SYSTEM). When browsing MC0 make sure the IRX is in the same root as the BxDATA-SYSTEM folder. I have had a problem with it once, where it would open the mass folder, but would not display files. I had to re-install the whole thing to get it working again.

myPS2 will look for the USBD.IRX module in the installation directory first. If it can't find the file in the installation directory it will then look for the module on the memory card in the following places:
- mc0:/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/SMS/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/PS2MP3/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/SMS/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/PS2MP3/USBD.IRX
and iam using the first one and its working for me ..(mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX )
btw :iam running myps2 from hdd

ummm ..you mean when you run the myps2 and not that what i meant (cannot see the USB drive ) right ?
i mean by that if you dont have USBD.IRX ..it wont support usb drive
this is for HDD :
MYPS2/ <--create this folder, put the following directories , subdirectories & files in it. (all are case sensitive)
/boot/
/fonts/
/language/
/shoutcast/
/skins/
/logs/
MYPS2.ELF
CONFIG.DAT
samba.xml
USBD.IRX
you have these files in your MYps2 folder right ?

in order to understand to us better I have:
PSTWO Slim + Titan Sara Modchip
Memory Card Sony 8MB
Usb Pen Trascend 512Mb
the other programs like SMS, uLaunchELF, PGen, Snes Station, ScummVM, Medium Reality Player recognize the usb pen and work well and all use the same USB module.
only myps2 recognizes the module usb but it doesn't load it!!

Just so you know:
uLaunchELF will not use any external USBD.IRX or USB_mass.IRX by default, as it has current PS2SDK versions of both drivers embedded in the program file. Those are THE best drivers currently available, so very few USB drives will need other drivers. External drivers will only be used by uLE if you specifically request this in the "Startup Settings..." configuration menu. I also believe that the same is true of recent versions of SMS, though that program too previously used to support only external drivers, just like some of the others you mention still do.
Best regards: dlanor
