Pause and Resume
Could you please make it so the pause and resume is the same button. Its really annoying when I pause the video to read subtitles and then I have to press another button. Its much easier if my thumb is just one button so I can just switch from one state to the other instantaniously.

Vob file(subtitel)
I just wonder why I cant get the subtitel to work with vob file. In 1 of 10 vob file i can get sms to play subtitel. I just use start button to bring up the menu, and when it works i can choose from several languages, but often I only get default sub(no sub). I know that you can play dvd on ps2, but I want to stream my movies i dont want to burn my movies to a dvd.

UDF 1.02 or something?
Good Work so far!
but:
What about UDF Support? DVD-ISO format has been outdated since files larger than 2GB appeared and became common.
I'd like to have a support for UDF DVD-ROMs for I have to watch larger files over my smb server. BlueRay-Rips with file sizes about 2.2GB work fine over network but are not accessable over the DVD-Drive. *sigh*
If there is any support for UDF Format please be so kind to inform me.
Thank you!

I have a request, I'm not quite sure if it's doable or not though. It would be nice if we could stream a live picture of the entire monitor to the Playstation. Pretty much the same thing as running an s-video cable from the computer to the tv, except to the PS2 and showing it as a video. More or less the end result of using the TV like a much bigger monitor for browsing websites or chatting or even playing PC games.

Why would you need that if you already can run an s-video cable to your tv? It would be doing the exact same thing, only complicating it a step further by running it through the PS2. Or is it that you don't have an s-video capable video card? If that's the case you can buy one for like 50 bucks, probably less.

1. Unlikely , I suggest you search for releases that are in avi/xvid
2. Impossible, cannot be done. 2 reasons: a) PS2 hardware is only USB 1.1 not USB 2.0, the data transfer rate is simply not enough to play DVD files smoothly b) USB drivers only support FAT32 file system so the maximum file size is 2GB, DVD image files are 4GB or more 3. Yes JPEG would be a great addition to SMS for slideshows and album cover art. All we need is someone to implement it!

I'm curious about the resolution of those BluRay rips. I tried playing one in Xvid which was 1200x720 and SMS wouldn't play it saying resolution is too big. What is the limit ?

If you mean the limit of SMS, then I believe there is an absolute limit of 1024 pixels horizontally, though I can't swear to it...
As for the limit of Blu-Ray video, I have no idea, but I assume it is significantly higher.

You only need to search this forum for rmvb and rm requests to see they are unlikely to be implimented by EEUG, i think SMS is what it is, and he's not going to add many more features,
I think he also rejected JPG for cover art etc long ago but i could be wrong, again a simple search will show this..
