{help}slow loading and quick scroller

my ps2 laser broke so i,m using freemcboot to boot ULE but it takes 2mins for it to run i even tried booting it thought FCEUltra same problem
my guess is that
the problem is that the ULE can't find a disc in the tray and therefore keep looking until it finds something a cd/dvd
cd is always inside the ps2 and it keeps spinning until ule runs
need some one 2 try this boot into FCEUltra take out the disc and try to boot ule from there
Then tell me your results
as my laser is dead it won't make a diffrence weather i have a disc in or not
i tried it myself with friends ps2 the FreeMcBoot same version and with a cd forgot 2 try without and it was fast he has the ps2 now

is it possible to pay pass cd check if that was the problem???

after ULE start the scroller\pointer\selector what ever you want to call it goes twice as fast and does everything twice e.g when i press O to get into the browser it goes to Mc0

In the main configuration screen of uLE there is a setting for "Disc control:". Change this from "ON" to "OFF" and exit config with the OK command and reboot. This should cause uLE to ignore the CDVD tray.

If "Disc control:" is "ON" that launch should give the same result as a fresh boot with empty tray.

Like I said above, set "Disc control: OFF".

That is a known and rare issue mysteriously related to the gamepad type, the security of its connection, as well as the type of CD in the tray. We never completely solved the mystery of it I'm afraid. I also suspect that the gamepad init of FreeMcBoot may further complicate the issue, as repeated gamepad inits have caused trouble in the past.

Doublecheck that your gamepad connector is securely inserted in the connector of the PS2, and try it again with "Disc control: OFF", and report again if the problem persists.
